Lincoln Park Community Services Hosts Taste of Fall: Casino Night

Ante up for a night of fun, food and philanthropy! Lincoln Park Community Services (LPCS) is bringing a little Las Vegas-style excitement to Chicago with its annual Taste of Fall fundraiser, this year transforming the event into Taste of Fall: Casino Night on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 6:00–11:00 p.m. at Sarabande.

Presented by the LPCS Associate Board, this year's event invites guests to trade in their everyday evening out for a night at the tables, complete with casino games, entertainment, food, drinks and plenty of chances to win big for a good cause. Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme with cocktail or casino attire as they enjoy an evening designed to feel like a true night out at the casino, while helping support LPCS programs and services for Chicagoans experiencing homelessness.

The evening will feature casino games for all, along with entertainment from magician Dan Feltey and a tarot reader who will add a little extra mystery to the night. Guests can sample food from a lineup of local restaurants and enjoy complimentary beer and wine throughout the evening. Confirmed food and beverage partners include Geja’s, Vanille, Lunch Heroes, Cedar Palace, Tandoor Char House and Revolution Brewing.

And, of course, no casino night would be complete without the chance to take something home. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of auction items and experiences, making it possible to turn a fun night out into meaningful support for LPCS.

“Every year, Taste of Fall gives us an opportunity to bring people together around our mission, and this year we’re having a little more fun with it,” said Cheryl Hamilton-Hill, CEO of LPCS. “Casino Night is all about creating an exciting evening where people can dress up, enjoy great food and entertainment, play a few games and spend time with friends, all while knowing their night out is helping provide critical services to people experiencing homelessness. It’s a party with a purpose, and we hope Chicagoans will come ready to play.”

While Casino Night offers an evening of fun, the impact of the event goes far beyond the festivities. Every day, LPCS provides critical housing, meals, case management and supportive services to Chicagoans experiencing homelessness. In the past fiscal year, LPCS provided interim housing to 333 individuals, with 87 guests moving into permanent housing, a 3.5% increase from FY25.

LPCS's Drop-In program served 809 unique individuals, compared with 326 in FY25, and provided 7,800 meals, an increase of 1,700 meals over the previous year. Its Emergency Overnight program welcomed 142 unique individuals, filled 1,757 beds and served more than 3,500 meals.

Early Bird tickets are $85 per person through September 4 and $100 per person thereafter. Admission includes food samples from local restaurants, complimentary beer and wine, and entertainment. Guests are invited to enjoy casino games and a night of fun, with all proceeds benefiting LPCS programs and services.
