Man Found Dead In Car At Libertyville Religious Center
A Waukegan man was found dead Sunday morning as people arrived for Mass at Marytown, authorities said.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 36-year-old Waukegan man was found dead inside a vehicle late last month in the parking lot of Marytown – The National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Libertyville, authorities said.
Lake & McHenry County Scanner is reporting Libertyville police and firefighters responded around 10:10 a.m. on Aug. 31 to the religious center at 1600 W. Park Ave. after a report of a cardiac arrest, and the man was found inside the car as people were arriving for Mass. The Lake County Coroner’s Office said the man had likely been dead for more than 24 hours, and an autopsy was conducted last week.
His cause and manner of deathhad not been determined pending toxicology results, including carbon monoxide testing, according to the article. The death remains under investigation by the Libertyville Police Department and Lake County Coroner’s Office.
