Spring Branch Pickup Underway In Lisle: What To Know
Spring branch pickup resumed for the season on Monday in Lisle.
LISLE, IL — Spring branch pickup is underway in Lisle for the 2026 season. The free program resumed on Monday, April 27.
Residents in single-family homes can collect their branches for pickup and placed the bundled piles at their curb. The collection schedule is as follows.
Week of April 27: Pickup in Center Zone between the BNSF Metra tracks and Maple Avenue

Week of May 4: Pickup in North Zone, south of Maple Avenue
Week of May 11: Pickup in South Zone, north of BNSF Metra tracks

To ensure collections, residents must follow these guidelines:
- Bundle branches with natural rope or twine. Bundles should not exceed five feet in length, three feet in width and height, or 50 pounds in weight.
- Bundles should be placed on the curb by 7 a.m., close to the street, with the branches' cut ends facing the road.
- Individual branches should be no longer than five feet and no bigger than eight inches in diameter
- Whole shrubs and trees will not be collected.
Below is a list of items that will not be accepted.
- Lumber and railroad ties
- Thorny branches
- Stumps, roots
- Evergreen trimmings
- Items containing nails or other metals
- Landscape materials and smaller twigs or branches
If a bundle cannot be collected, a red tag will be placed on the bundle indicating why it was rejected.
