Lunar Eclipse Viewing - This Thursday - Frontier Park-Naperville 9:00pm-11:30pm

This Thursday 8/27, the Naperville Astronomical Association is hosting a FREE Lunar Eclipse Viewing Event from 9:00pm-11:30pm at Frontier Park in Naperville.  

Recommended parking is at the lot at 3415 Book Road.  
What to Expect

• Telescopes: Club members will set up telescopes for close-up public viewing.
• The View: 96% of the moon will enter the Earth's umbral shadow, creating a deep, dramatic contrast.  The partial eclipse phase starts at 9:33pm with maximum eclipse at 11:13pm
• Family Friendly: An informal setting to learn more about the night sky.

Dress accordingly as the temperature will cool throughout the evening and consider bug spray.
