City Council Unanimously Votes To Prohibit Kratom Sales In Naperville: Report
The city council voted on the ban at its Sept. 1 meeting.
NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville City Council voted unanimously Monday to prohibit the sale of kratom within city limits, according to ABC 7.
Often sold in pill, powder or drink form, kratom is a herb derived from trees that are native to southeast Asia.
Kratom, which can have psychoactive effects, has been banned in Wheaton as of April.
