'Forward Together 2032' Aims To Improve Transparency, Community Engagement In District 203
The plan will be co-created by district officials, staff and parents over a six to eight month period.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Community Unit School District 203 recently announced its new "Forward Together" plan, an initiative to improve transparency and community engagement. The district aims to achieve this goal by co-creating the five-year plan with the help of community members, staff and students over a six- to eight-month period.
In its outline for "Forward Together," District 203 lists is goals as rebuilding trust and connection, "elevating the voices of stakeholders" and collaboratively creating the Community Framework for 2032.
The timeline spans August 2026 through August 2027 and will begin with surveys and discussions between directors, cabinets and community members, staff and students.

By January, District 203 plans to publish a report called "What We Heard that will "synthesize" trends found in the surveys and discussions.
Design workshops will be held February through April to draft the Forward Together 2032 plan.

Feedback will be solicited online in May and June via an online hub. The goal is to have Forward Together 2032 published by July or August of 2027.
