Naperville Cancels 4th Of July Fireworks Due To Flooding, Forecast
Naperville officials say the city and the park district will work to reschedule the event.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville's Fourth of July Fireworks Show has been canceled due to severe weather and flooding, according to information on the city's website.
The announcement reads, "Naperville's fireworks display scheduled for July 4, 2026 is canceled due to weather conditions. The Park District and City will work with the fireworks vendor on a possible rescheduled date for the fireworks show."
The Downers Grove-Woodridge Fireworks Show was also canceled due to site conditions and looming bad weather.
