Oktoberfest Returns To Naper Settlement For 2-Day Celebration

NAPERVILLE, IL — Oktoberfest returns to Naper Settlement Oct. 2 and Oct. 3 for two days of German food and beer, live music and themed activities, including a stein-holding contest on Saturday.

The festival will take place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Here's a peek at the daily schedule.

Oct. 2

5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Ed Wagner’s Lustige Blaskapelle performs

8 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Eliminator plays ZZ Top tribute music

Oct. 3

3 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Freeze Dried performs

5 p.m.: Stein Holding Competition

5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Whiskey Romance Band performs

8 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Fool House plays music from the "Wow That’s What I Call 90’s" Tour

The festival promised one of the biggest Oktoberfest beer selections in the area. Food trucks will be on hand to serve up traditional German fare and other eats.

Naper Settlement members get free admission. For nonmembers, tickets are $25 per person for adults and $15 per person for children ages four to 12 years old. Kids under four get in free.
