Shooting Threat Under Investigation At Naperville North High School
The school was on lockdown Thursday afternoon after the main office received a threat.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Police are investigating a shooting threat that was made to Naperville North High School Thursday afternoon.
Naperville Police Commander Ricky Krakow told Patch the caller said a group planned to come to Naperville North "and shoot."
Per a school update, the threat was called in to the school's main office earlier in the afternoon and a Hold and Secure lockdown went into effect. Doors were locked, and no one was permitted to come into or leave the high school.

Police were notified, and the lockdown was later lifted, but the incident remains under investigation, Naperville Police Krakow said.
