How have they made an impact?
Coach Bill has a talent for creating a fun and encouraging space. This was my son's first year playing baseball, and he was so excited to be part of a real team. Not only has Coach Bill fostered that excitement, he has also helped it grow through patience, support and guidance. He is extremely fair, yet straightforward and no-nonsense when needed. He will take the time to calmly correct a player's batting stance or glove positioning, somehow maintaining his calm even after the 103rd time...
He clearly wants his players to succeed, and at the 5- to 6-year-old age level, that means following directions, allowing all players a chance to play different positions and highlighting good sportsmanship. Thank you, Coach Bill, for sharing your gift of coaching and love of the game. Go Cardinals!
What are three words that best describe them?
