New Lenox ReUnion Bar & Grill Hit In Another Smash-and-Grab: NLPD
The restaurant was hit by burglars with sledgehammers in the early morning hours of Aug. 6.
NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox business was targeted in a second smash-and-grab this summer, according to New Lenox police reports.
Police were called to ReUnion Bar and Grill, 1080 E. Lincoln Highway on Aug. 6 at 2:30 a.m. for a burglar alarm. The alarm company observed via security cameras several subjects inside the busiess
The officer was dispatched to Reunion Bar and Grill in reference to a burglar alarm. The alarm company was able to see via security cameras several suspects inside the business, breaking into gaming machines with sledgehammers.

The suspects fled before police arrived, and made off with a cash box from one of the gaming machines, according to police reports.
The business was also previously hit by burglars in June. That incident happened minutes before a similar burglary at Vino, 647 E Lincoln Highway.
