St. Coletta’s of Illinois Celebrates the Arrival of Fall with Annual Fall Fest

St. Coletta’s of Illinois, a nonprofit organization serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, welcomed the arrival of autumn with its annual Fall Fest on Sept. 25, bringing students and adult participants together for a day filled with fun, friendship and seasonal celebration.

St. Coletta’s provides educational, vocational and lifelong support services designed to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their greatest potential, build independence and become more fully involved in their communities.

Held under beautiful fall skies, the festive event featured an assortment of games, delicious food, face painting, and arts and crafts. Participants had the opportunity to enjoy the crisp autumn atmosphere while taking part in activities designed to encourage creativity, connection and plenty of smiles.

Adding to the fun, members of the All Saints Lutheran Church congregation volunteered their time to assist with several of the games, helping make the celebration even more memorable for everyone in attendance.

“Fall Fest is a wonderful opportunity for our students and adult participants to come together, enjoy the season and create lasting memories,” said CEO Heather Benedick. “We are grateful to our dedicated volunteers, including members of All Saints Lutheran Church, for helping make this special day possible.”

The annual celebration reflects St. Coletta’s commitment to creating meaningful experiences that promote community, inclusion and joy for the children and adults it serves.
