Martin Sarmiento and Ryan Shanahan, both of Northbrook’s 60062 ZIP code, earned Faculty Honors for the spring 2026 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Four Northbrook students graduated from the University of Tampa during its 162nd commencement ceremony May 9:
- Eleni Gerentes, Bachelor of Science in management
- Roxanne Watt, Bachelor of Arts in applied sociology
- Sebastian Krol, Bachelor of Science in finance
- Shaye Gruber, Bachelor of Science in finance
The university honored 1,992 degree-seeking candidates during the ceremony.
