BeliEve Day, The Eve Fries Foundation Softball Field Dedication

Join us on June 6 at Little Gompers Park as The Eve Fries Foundation hosts its inaugural event—a day of community, remembrance, and purpose.

This special event honors Eve Fries, a beloved Northwest Side student-athlete whose life was cut short at 17 after battling DIPG, a rare and aggressive brain tumor. Eve found strength, joy, and confidence through softball, and this day celebrates her legacy by creating those same opportunities for other young girls.

The event will include a field dedication ceremony at the park where Eve first fell in love with the game, free softball clinics for girls ages 7–9, and an afternoon of games, music, and community activities.

All are welcome to come together to honor Eve’s life, support the next generation of female athletes, and be part of something truly meaningful.
