300 Homes Participating In Oak Forest Citywide Garage Sale
The bargain-hunting adventure will take place on June 5–6, and offers local residents the opportunity to seek out neighborhood treasures.
OAK FOREST, IL — Bargain hunters looking to do a little casual shopping close to home will have a chance to find what they’re looking for as part of the city’s annual garage sale, Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6.
Approximately 300 homes are set to participate in the event, which allows residents to peruse their neighbors' stuff in the two-day garage sale set for Friday and Saturday.
Homeowners can participate one or both days, so shoppers are encouraged to check the master list online. Printed copies will also be available at City Hall at 15440 S. Central Avenue.

Residents are encouraged to set up their garage sales even if they miss the registration deadline. Permits are not required during the Citywide Garage Sale weekend, the City said.
