Bremen High School welcomed educator and motivational speaker Gian Paul Gonzalez on November 4 for two keynote presentations celebrating students’ consistent attendance and academic effort while encouraging them to stay “All In” at school and in life.

Gonzalez addressed two groups in the school’s Main Gym during a shortened School Improvement Plan day, with one session for freshmen and sophomores and another for juniors and seniors. Participating students were selected based on criteria that included an average daily attendance rate above 95% and passing grades in all classes.

Best known for his “All In” message, which became a rallying cry for the New York Giants during their run to the 2012 Super Bowl championship, Gonzalez emphasizes commitment, purpose and giving your best for yourself and those who depend on you.

Gonzalez is also the founder of the Hope + Future Foundation, which empowers young people through activities and programming that support personal growth, health, wellness and community connections. His work brings a message of hope and commitment to audiences in schools, athletics, businesses and community organizations.

At Bremen, the visit provided an opportunity to recognize students for the daily choices that support their education while encouraging them to build on those habits. The presentations reinforced the connection between showing up, putting forth consistent effort and working toward meaningful goals.
