Oak Forest High School Incoming Freshman and Youth Football Camps

From future Bengals to incoming freshmen, Oak Forest Football is building the next generation

(Darcey Reczkiewicz)

This summer provides two exciting opportunities for young athletes to become part of the Oak Forest Bengal football tradition. Coming off an SSC Blue Conference Championship and State Semi-Final appearance, the Bengal Football Program is excited to welcome the next generation of players through two summer camp opportunities.

Students entering 3rd through 8th grade are invited to attend the Oak Forest Youth Football Camp from June 8–11, held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bengal Stadium. Campers will work alongside current Oak Forest football players and coaches while participating in drills, games, competitions, and team-building activities in a fun and energetic environment.

The cost for the youth camp is $50 per participant, which includes a camp T-shirt and prizes throughout the week. The camp is open to students from all communities, and no prior football experience is necessary to participate.

Incoming freshmen will also have the opportunity to get an early start on their high school football experience through the Oak Forest Freshman Football Camp. The program begins with introductory weightlifting sessions on June 16–18 and June 23–25 in the Oak Forest High School weight room.

Following the July 4th holiday, freshman football practices will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on July 7–9, July 13–16, July 20–23, and July 27–30. The freshman camp is designed to introduce players to the Oak Forest football program, build team camaraderie, and help students transition into high school athletics before the school year begins.
