1 Dies In Fiery Crash At Central Avenue And 110th Street
A fatal car accident shut down Central Avenue for several hours Sunday on the Chicago Ridge and Oak Lawn border.
CHICAGO RIDGE, IL—A fatal car accident shut down Central Avenue for several hours Sunday on the border of Oak Lawn and Chicago Ridge.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., Oak Lawn and Chicago Ridge police responded to a 2-vehicle crash at 110th Street and Central Avenue. Upon arrival, police and fire crews found two cars with heavy damage. One of the vehicles was reportedly engulfed in flames.
One person was pronounced deceased on the scene. The Cook County Medical Examiner has not shared the name. It’s not known if there were other injuries.
