Boy, 5, On Scooter, Critically Injured After Being Struck By Car In Bridgeview
The five-year-old boy was riding an electric scooter when he was hit by a small car at 92nd Place and the Harlem Avenue frontage road.
BRIDGEVIEW, IL—A 5-year-old boy riding an electric scooter was critically injured Friday afternoon when he was hit by a car, Bridgeview police said.
The crash happened around 5 p.m. at 92nd Place and the Harlem Avenue frontage road. Police said the boy was hit by a small car.
The boy was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with critical injuries. Chief Rick Mancha, of the Bridgeview Police, told Patch the boy lived in the area.
