Join us Saturday, August 22, from 12pm to 5pm for the fifth annual Comics, Action Figures, Cosplay &amp; More Market at Soundgrowler Brewing Co. in Tinley Park. This free, family-friendly event brings together more than 40 artists, makers, collectors, comic vendors, creators, and small businesses for an afternoon filled with unique finds, great food, craft beer, and plenty of pop culture fun.
Whether you're hunting for comics, action figures, trading cards, video game collectibles, original artwork, handcrafted gaming accessories, pop culture merchandise, or one-of-a-kind creations from local artists, you'll find something worth taking home. We continue to expand the variety each year, making this one of our most unique specialty markets.
We will also be hosting a cosplay contest kicking off at 4pm! Come dressed as your favorite character and show off your cosplay. Prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants. Whether your costume is elaborate, handmade, hilarious, or simply one of your favorites, we want to see it! Sign-Up Sheet will be at Jen Watson Art's space.
Cosplayers are absolutely welcome throughout the entire event, even if you don't participate in the contest.
Soundgrowler Brewing Co. will be serving their outstanding craft beer, tacos, and a modified food menu throughout the day, making it the perfect place to spend a Saturday shopping local, supporting small businesses, and enjoying the pop culture community.
