ORLAND PARK, IL — Police are on the scene in the area of Orland's Schussler Park, where a death investigation is underway Thursday afternoon, Orland Park police said.

A heavy police presence is reported in the area of the park, 14609 Poplar Rd. Police said it is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public. No further information was provided.

The investigation remains active, and additional information will be released when appropriate.

Police asked the public to avoid the area and allow officers to conduct their investigation.
