Oswego East Junior Recognized As All-Star Student By Chicago Bears
Danielle Stone "represents the very best" of District 308, administrators said.

OSWEGO, IL — An Oswego East High School junior was recognized as an all-star student by the Chicago Bears.
By winning the Chicago Bears Community High School All-Star Award, Danielle Stone, a member of her school's girls' flag football team, "represents the very best" of Oswego Community Unit School District 308, administrators said in a news release.
The Bears honor high school football players who make a positive impact within their schools and communities. Winners exemplify service, leadership and character, officials said.

"Danielle's recognition as a Chicago Bears Community High School All-Star reflects the values we strive to cultivate in all of our students," Superintendent Andalib Khelghati said in a statement. "Her leadership, character, and commitment to making a positive difference make our entire SD 308 community proud."
Stone is the quarterback of the flag football team and helped lead the girls to a 5-0 conference record, ending the season 15-5. She was named the Offensive MVP of the South Prairie Conference and received honorable mention at All-State.

"Beyond the football field, Danielle is also an outstanding softball infielder and an excellent student," district officials said.
Outside the field, Stone participates in various honor societies and is a leader in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She also plays travel softball and is involved in a local youth group.
Stone aspires to continue playing softball in college and is considering pursuing a degree in business or going on a pre-law track, according to the district.
By winning the award from the Chicago Bears, Stone received a custom football award, a Bears swag bag and a $500 donation to a nonprofit of her choosing.
