Oswego Restaurant To Be Featured In America's Best Restaurants Show

OSWEGO, IL — Christina's Grill and Gatherings, a locally beloved family-owned restaurant, will be featured on America's Best Restaurants.

The media group that travels the country to feature conversations with restaurant owners and operators will visit Christina's Grill on Tuesday, staff shared on Facebook.

"We can't wait to show off some of our best dishes as well as share more about our story and what makes Christina's Grill & Gathering so special," the team wrote in a post.

The restaurant, connected to the Fox Bend Golf Course, invited its loyal customers to stop by while crews film from 10 a.m. to noon. There's even a chance guests could make a cameo in the background of the episode.

"We're humbled by this amazing opportunity and would like to thank all of our awesome customers for your support!" the restaurant wrote on Facebook.

The restaurant was known as Pearce's for years until it underwent a rebranding and remodeling to become Christina's Grill and Gatherings in early 2022. Owners Christina and Allen Soboj updated the space, once stuck in the '80s, with a modern, farmhouse-style approach.

"Our main focus is comfort food," Christina told Patch at the time. "We really don't advertise as being high-end. We've created the decor to be a comfortable place."

The menu at Christina's Grill features American classics, such as including burgers, brats, wraps and salads.
