The man, a resident of Romeoville, was driving the car while his license was revoked due to a prior DUI violation, police said.

OSWEGO, IL — A drunken driver crashed early Monday into two Oswego police squad cars conducting a traffic stop on the side of Route 30, officials said.

Police reminded drivers of Scott's Law, which requires drivers to slow down and move lanes when approaching stationary emergency vehicles.
"Driving under the influence continues to be a significant public safety concern," police said. "Impaired driving endangers everyone on the roadway and often contributes to preventable crashes."
