Palatine Police, NIPAS Conduct Activity Near Baldwin, Dundee Quarter
The Monday morning activity involved only local and regional law enforcement resources, according to police.
PALATINE, IL — Palatine police said there is no known threat to the public after residents may have noticed an increased law enforcement presence Monday morning near North Baldwin Road and Dundee Quarter.
The Palatine Police Department, with assistance from the Northern Illinois Police Alarm System, conducted police activity in the area during the morning hours Monday as part of an ongoing investigation, police said.
The activity involved only local and regional law enforcement resources, according to police.

"There is no known threat to the public and no ongoing safety concerns related to this incident," the department said in a statement.
