Must-See Rummage Sale At The Children's Farm Offers Riding Arena Full Of Treasures

The Children's Farm's annual rummage sale features loads of housewares, books, tools, crafts and more Aug. 28 to Aug. 30, In Palos Park.

PALOS PARK, IL — One of the most highly anticipated resale shopping events in the south suburbs kicks off this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 28 to Aug. 30. The Children’s Farm at the Center. The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. all three days at 12700 Southwest Highway, Palos Park.

This must-see-to-be-believed sale features four large areas, including the riding arena, which will be filled with housewares, books, clothes, crafts and tools. Shoppers will find a lawn filled with sporting goods, strollers, a special “Twice As Nice” clothing boutique and a furniture tent.

All areas of the rummage sale have at least partial cover: on the lawn under tents, under a pavilion, and in an airy riding arena. This is a farm, so the sale is on rain or shine. Sunday will be bargain day, so come out early.
