PALOS PARK, IL—Palos Park police will be combining “Cop On A Rooftop” for Special Olympics Illinois with this month’s “Coffee With the Chief” to support Friday, May 15.

Palos Park officers will be camped out on the roof of Dunkin’ Donuts, 13029 S. La Grange Road, from 5 a.m. to noon.

Chief Joe Miller will also be around from 5 to 8 a.m. to help officers in their mission to raise funds for the Law Enforcement Torch Run, as well as answer questions and address residents’ public safety concerns.

Guests who make a donation will receive a coupon for a free donut. If you donate $10 or more, you will receive a tumbler and a coupon for a free medium hot or iced coffee.

Also available are Palos Park PD challenge coins at the police station for $20. Only 200 were made, and any remaining challenge coins will be available at Cop On A Rooftop.
