Smash-And-Grab Crew Comes Back For More, Stella's Hit Third Time In Palos Hills

PALOS HILLS, IL—A Palos Hills gaming cafe has been hit a third time during the overnight hours of Aug. 24, reports said.

Four people dressed in all black with hoodies and masks broke battered their way into Stella’s Gaming Cafe, near 76th triggering a burglar alarm.

By the time Palos Hills officers arrived, the four were seen jumping into a white Audi SUV and fleeing westbound on 111th St. It was not known if police initiated a chase.

The front door to the gambling cafe was shattered. Inside, six video gaming machines were heavily damaged, and two cash boxes were missing.

Stella’s was previously hit in April and June. In both incidents, burglars bludgeoned the glass doors before absconding with the gaming machines’ cash boxes.
