Chicago Bears wide receivers Rome Odunze and Jahdae Walker painted with Advocate Health Care cancer survivors during an Oct. 13 sip-and-paint event at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital’s Cancer Survivorship Center in Park Ridge, Ill. The event was presented by Advocate Health Care in partnership with the Bears.

Odunze and Walker greeted 20 Advocate Health Care patients at various stages of cancer treatment and presented a $25,000 donation on behalf of the Chicago Bears to support cancer survivorship services in North Shore and north suburban communities.

Dr. Sigrun Hallmeyer, a medical oncologist at Advocate Lutheran General and Advocate Health enterprise physician lead for breast cancer services, accepted the donation on behalf of the center.
