The Goddard Schools Of Plainfield Hold Book Drive Through February
The 2026 book drive aims to provide 25,000 additional books to children in need.
PLAINFIELD, IL — The Goddard Schools of Plainfield are collecting new and gently used children's books this month, according to a news release from the business.
The book drive is focused on expanding access to books for local children and families. Thirty Goddard Schools across Chicagoland and Southeast Wisconsin are partnering with Bernie’s Book Bank to collect and distribute books to children for the 12th consecutive year, the business said.
Through Feb. 27, you can donate books at 24829 W. 135th St. and 5005 W. Theodore St.

Through past book drives and literacy initiatives, Goddard Schools have donated more than 300,000 books to children across the region, the business said. The 2026 drive aims to provide 25,000 additional books to children in need.
