Krema Patisserie Now Open in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, IL — The team behind popular coffee shop Krema Coffee House announced the opening of KREMA Patisserie on Monday.

The new business is officially open at 14220 US-30, the former site of Steve Buresh's Cookie Store, which closed earlier this year.

Krema invited residents to "enjoy something freshly baked," announcing the opening on social media.

"After months of hard work, dreaming, baking, and creating a space of our own, we’re so excited to finally open our doors and share it with you," the owners shared. "Whether you’re looking to be the office hero with a box of fresh croissants, bring home a loaf of freshly baked sourdough, or simply treat yourself to something sweet—we're here for you."

It's the latest venture by the owners of Krema Coffee House, which first opened in downtown Plainfield in late 2017. Since then, Krema has opened coffee houses in Lockport, Tinley Park and North Aurora.

KREMA Patisserie is now open on Route 30 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.
