Meet The Candidates: D202 Board Of Education Forum Set Ahead Of April Election

Four candidates are running for the three available seats on the Plainfield School District 202 Board of Education.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Ahead of April's consolidated election, the four candidates running for the Plainfield School District 202 Board of Education will participate in a forum March 16.

This April, Savena Joiner, Elias Kalantis, Margarita Morelos and Heather Roach, an incumbent, will be running for three — of seven — Board seats that are up for election. Board members Kevin Kirberg and Treasa Howard-Collins are not running for reelection.

Voters are invited to meet the candidates who will participate in a moderated question-and-answer session. Questions were submitted by members of District 202 parent organizations, the Association of Plainfield Teachers and the Plainfield Association For Support Staff.
