Over 4,000 Without Power In Romeoville After Tuesday's Severe Weather

The Village said that crews are out focusing on tree branches that are blocking roads.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Over 4,000 customers are without power in Romeoville after severe weather on Tuesday.

According to the ComEd Outage Map, as of 3 p.m., 4,265 customers are without power in Romeoville.

The Village of Romeoville shared footage of Tuesday's storms rolling in at Village Hall. Dark skies and blowing trees can be seen in the footage.

The Village said that crews are out focusing on tree branches that are blocking roads.

"Over the next two weeks, the chipper service will go around on your assigned garbage day to collect branches. Please place your branches at the curb," the Village said.
