Shorewood Trailer Park Resident Spotted 'Flailing His Arms And Stumbling': Shorewood Police Make Arrest

SHOREWOOD, IL — Jacob Miller, a 34-year-old resident at the Imperial Mobile Home Park along Route 52 and Route 59, was recently arrested by the Shorewood police force and taken to the Will County Jail for the fourth time in his life since 2018.

According to the police arrest reports, the latest brush with the law for Miller happened at 1:23 a.m. on July 30. The arrest took place along East Jefferson Street and Mary Street. Shorewood police said Miller's charges include obstructing a police officer plus an in-state arrest warrant from another agency.

Miller's arrest report noted that Shorewood's officers were patrolling in the middle of the night along Jefferson Street near Mary Street when officers saw Miler walking in the raised median and in the inside lane of westbound traffic.

The officers also observed Miller flailed his arms and stumbled as he walked, the agency indicated.

The officers met with Miller and asked if he needed assistance; he declined. When the officers asked Miller to provide his identification, Miller did not provide his identification. Miller was placed under arrest for obstructing a peace officer.

The officers located Miller’s wallet and radioed WESCOM the information. WESCOM advised Miller had an active In-State Warrant out of Grundy County for failure to appear in court.
