North Shore Center for the Performing Arts

Located at 9501 Skokie Boulevard, North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie brings live music, comedy, theatre, dance and family entertainment to Chicago’s North Shore. Since opening in 1996, we have welcomed audiences for memorable performances by nationally recognized artists and outstanding local talent.

Our two performance spaces, the George Van Dusen Theatre and North Theatre, offer a welcoming setting for everything from intimate concerts to full theatrical productions. We also serve as home to Chicago area resident companies, introduce young audiences to the performing arts through our Youth Theatre programs and offer rental spaces for community gatherings, meetings and special events.

With free parking and a convenient location near Old Orchard, an evening at North Shore Center is easy to enjoy. Follow us for show announcements, ticket offers and upcoming events.
