Jam & Biscuit Workshop: A From-Scratch Farm Kitchen Classic There’s nothing quite like a warm biscuit fresh from the oven, slathered with homemade jam and rich, flavorful butter. In this hands-on workshop at Rosewood Farm, you’ll learn the timeless art of creating a simple, beautiful spread completely from scratch. Together, we’ll make a seasonal fruit jam using peak produce, learning the fundamentals of balancing sweetness, acidity, and proper set. You’ll also whip up a flavored compound butter
—think honey cinnamon or fresh herb—perfect for elevating any baked good. Then, we’ll dive into biscuits, mastering two styles:
Along the way, we’ll cover essential techniques like cutting butter for flakiness, handling dough for the perfect rise, and baking for golden, bakery-quality results.
We’ll finish by gathering around the table to enjoy everything warm from the oven with your freshly made jam and butter. You’ll leave with:
- A jar of seasonal jam
- Your own flavored butter
- Recipes and techniques to recreate everything at home

Cancellation Policy?
All classes have a 48 Hour cancellation policy, You must email info@rosewfarm.com to cancel an existing reservation. If you cancel within 48 hours, you are responsible for paying for the class.
Should I eat before class?
All classes you will get to eat what you prepare, so plan on a meal at the end of class.
