D140 Board of Ed Celebrates Juliana Nasayao at April Board Meeting

D140 fifth grader receives 2026 Outstanding Student Technology Award

At its April 16 meeting, the D140 school board honored Keller fifth-grader Juliana Nasayao for receiving the 2026 Outstanding Student Technology Award from the Infinitec Southwest Assistive Technology Coalition.

This prestigious regional honor recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional progress and skill in using assistive technology to support their learning and independence. Juliana’s growth, perseverance, and ability to use technology as a tool for success truly exemplify this award. She was formally recognized at a ceremony at the Chicago Gaelic Park in March.

We congratulate Juliana, her family, and the dedicated staff who support her each day on this outstanding achievement.
