Western Springs Restaurant Burglary Suspect Arrested
The man is accused of stealing an ATM with $1,600 inside, police said.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – A man has been arrested in connection with last year's burglary of the since-closed Salerno's Pizzeria, Western Springs police said.
Keyanaz Foster, 25, of Aurora, was charged with burglary and criminal property damage, police said in a news release.
On July 8, 2025, police officers responded to the burglary at Salerno's, 821 Burlington Ave. An ATM containing about $1,600, which was affixed to the wall, had been stolen, police said.

Detectives worked with other agencies and identified a suspect, police said.
In June, a warrant was issued for Foster. On Friday, Aurora police arrested Foster, who was then taken to the Cook County Jail.

Salerno's closed in January because of "unforeseen circumstances." A new restaurant is planned.
