Youth Bangs On Western Springs Resident's Windows, Later Charged: Police

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs has released its latest police reports. Here is the information:

Disorderly conduct

• A youth was cited about 9 p.m. July 29 on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police said they were called about the youth banging on the windows of a house in the 4700 block of Howard Avenue.

Thrown brick

• A brick was thrown through the front window at the Shell gas station, 5500 Wolf Road. Officers responded to a burglar alarm about 4 a.m. Friday.

Scam

• A resident in the 3900 block of Western Avenue was scammed out of $3,500 from a telephone call he received. Police received the report Aug. 5.

Counterfeit

• Great American Bagel, which is in the Garden Market Shopping Center at 4700 Willow Springs Road, received a $100 counterfeit bill on Aug. 5.
