Dough Rebrands To Front Street Kitchen With New Menu Items

WHEATON, IL — Dough and the Backyard recently rebranded its restaurant space to Front Street Kitchen, pivoting away from its pizza-focused menu to offer customers a wider range of modern American cuisine.

The new menu features items like the chimichurri quinoa salad, a buffalo shrimp po' boy, red wine-braised short rib and spaghetti puttanesca with shrimp.

Diners can still order pizza, with options that include margherita, prosciutto and goat cheese and lemon capri.

On their website, the restaurant and sports bar's owners said they made the shift to accommodate the needs of their patrons.

"As our space grew and our guests showed us how they wanted to use it, we saw an opportunity to create something more flexible, polished, and lasting for downtown Wheaton."

They wrote, "The result is Front Street Kitchen — a modern American tavern built around approachable food, thoughtful drinks, and a warm neighborhood feel. It is designed to be casual enough for a weekday lunch, comfortable enough for dinner with friends, and elevated enough for a night out."

The Backyard, the restaurant's sports bar space, remains unchanged.
