Downed Trees, Power Lines, Outages Amid Stormy Weather In Wheaton

Crews were working to clear roadways in the wake of Monday's storms.

WHEATON, IL — Stormy weather downed trees and power lines in Wheaton Monday, blocking roadways and leaving some without electricity.

The city shared an update Monday afternoon notifying residents that crews were responding to reports in "numerous locations."

Residents were advised to treat downed power lines as an emergency and call 911. Fallen trees and other non-emergency situations can be reported via the city's Service Request Form.
