Person Gained Entry To Middle School, Damaged Property In Wheaton
Police say the incident took place sometime between June 12 and June 13 at Edison Middle School, which is under construction.

WHEATON, IL — Someone recently got into Edison Middle School and damaged property, according to Wheaton police. The school is under construction and was not secured at the time, police say.
A construction supervisor contacted police around 9:20 a.m. on June 13 to report the incident. According to documents obtained by Patch via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the person (s) gained entry to the school and defaced "several walls, lockers and the floor" on the school's second level.
The incident happened sometime between June 12 at 5:30 p.m. and June 13 at 6 a.m.
