WHEATON, IL — A fire was started in the parking lot of a school, three cars were vandalized and someone's e-scooter was stolen, according to the most recent blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.
E-Scooter Stolen Outside Jewel
An e-scooter was stolen from the parking lot of the Jewel at 30 Danada Square West. The incident took place between 4:50 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. on June 9.

Fire Started in School Parking Lot
Police say someone used a "plastic object" to start a "small fire" in the parkign lot of Wiesbrook Elementary School on June 9.

Phone, Credit Cards Stolen from Bathroom
According to police, someone stole a phone and credit cards from the bathroom of the Walgreens at 2191 Roosevelt Rd. The credit cards were then used to make unauthorized purchases. The incident took place on the morning of June 11.
Tire Slashed on Parked Car
Someone stabbed a back tire on a car while it was parked in the 100 block of Wheaton Center. The incident happened on June 11 around 6:24 p.m.
Car Damaged in Sephora Lot
A car door was scratched in the parking lot of Sephora, 77 Danada Square East, on May 28. The incident took place between 5 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on May 28.
Car Damaged on Main Street
Someone scratched the door of a car that was parked in the 100 block of Main Street on June 10.
