Tornado Sirens Accidentally Go Off After 2nd DUCOMM Error In 1 Week
Outdoor warning sirens went off in error Friday morning in some DuPage County areas, marking the second instance in one week.
WHEATON, IL — For the second time in one week, tornado sirens were activated in error in some DuPage County municipalities.
According to the City of Wheaton, the outdoor warning sirens went off just before 10 a.m. Friday due to an error from DU-COMM. The sirens also went off in error on Tuesday around 3 a.m.
After Tuesday's incidnet, officials said the sirens had accidentally been activated during a test.
