Tonight on &ldquo;Jam&rsquo; n Java&rdquo;&hellip;the original band members of Patch &amp; Didi will reunite after all these years&hellip;to revel in the glory of the music, the unforgettable decade, and the magic of the memories. 
The adventures of Patch &amp; Didi morphed into the ultimate &ldquo;rock-n-roll story&rdquo;, where a group of really nice, polite, down-to-earth, Midwest kids said, &ldquo;let&rsquo;s form a band&rdquo;, enjoyed local and regional success, and ended up hitting the big time, with national stardom in other bands.

In the early 1970s, my brother Rex Robinson, Lynn Hammann and I started making music together in Illinois. Then the remarkable Didi Carr joined us, and Patch &amp; Didi hit the road. We were young musicians with no idea where that road would eventually take us. And what a road it became.&rdquo;, said Robby Robinson. &ldquo;Rex, Lynn, Didi and I are getting back together to remember those days - the music, the nightclubs and showrooms, the people we backed, the crazy stories, the move to California&hellip;and how those early years eventually connected to some pretty amazing chapters in all of our lives.
