WINNETKA, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Winnetka Police Department and the Glencoe Public Safety Department.
Winnetka
THEFT
- Theft - Sept. 23 at 12:05 p.m.
- A resident told police that somebody had taken their wallet.
- Scam - Sept. 23 at 12:11 p.m.
- A victim told police that somebody claiming to be an Apple employee instructed them to purchase two gift cards worth $750.

- Traffic - Sept. 23
- A 46-year-old Chicago man was arrested and cited for driving with an expired registration, not having insurance and not having a valid license.
- Traffic - Sept. 29
- A 25-year-old Highland Park man was arrested and cited for disregarding a stop sign, driving with a suspended registration and not having a valid license or insurance.
