The Book Stall welcomes Stephanie Daly on August 22 at 10:30 am for a special Saturday Storytime featuring her new book, Kimo and Howie's Rainforest Ruckus. Kimo & Howie's Rainforest Ruckus is a lively, heartwarming picture book set in the colorful world of Canopy Hollow, where every animal plays a part in the beloved Forest Feast. Full of laughter, teamwork, and heart, this story models the educational value of restorative practices while celebrating friendship, community, and kindness.

Stephanie Daly, Ed.D., is an educator, author, and researcher with more than 20 years of experience as an elementary teacher, district administrator, and a National Blue-Ribbon principal. She is passionate about restorative practices in learning, creating stories that turn mistakes into opportunities for empathy, problem-solving, and repairing relationships. Her picture books give children the language and tools to navigate conflict, repair harm, and build belonging. These books help young readers develop essential life skills as they navigate real-world challenges. Dr. Daly holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and researched restorative practices in PreK-12 settings. She lives in a Chicago suburb with her husband, Andrew, their three children, and their dogs.
