Winnetka

THEFT

  • Identity - July 2 at 2:38 p.m.
    • A scammer purporting to be a government employee with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office instructed a resident to pay a fee of $925 for fraudulent service.

  • Traffic - June 29 at 2:31 p.m.
    • A 36-year-old Wheeling man was arrested for driving without a license. He was also cited for disobeying traffic laws.
  • Traffic - June 29 at 4:15 p.m.
    • A 46-year-old Chicago man was arrested for driving without a valid license. He was also cited for driving with a suspended registration.
  • Traffic - July 3 at 8:42 a.m.
    • A 30-year-old Chicago man was arrested for driving on a suspended license. He was also cited for driving a vehicle with an expired registration.

Burglary

  • Vehicle - June 28 at 10:20 a.m.
    • A resident discovered that an unknown person went inside their unlocked 2021 Mercedez- Benz GLB 250 and took a backpack.
