On Sunday, May 31st, Shanahan’s hosted a fundraiser to help (Don & Cindy), a family facing big financial and health challenges. They lost their belongings in the EF3 tornado of 2021 and had to start over in a new apartment. Shortly thereafter, they faced big health challenges with Don receiving a devasting cancer diagnosis, Cindy having a mild stroke, followed by Don having serious side effects from Chemotherapy.

The fundraiser featured an afternoon of music by legendary members of The Cryan’ Shames and The Buckinghams. In addition, other amazing musicians came out and donated their time including: Dr. Dave Rios, Chris Fisher, Robert Kramer, and Donna Rice to the list of musicians Roger Legal and Phil Gatto. Shanahan’s donated the food.

“We strive to be the community gathering place that not only serves great food, offers great music, but most importantly serves the community. This is what Shanahan’s is all about,” said Rich Moore, Owner of Shanahan’s.
