Woodridge Police Share Results Of 4th Of July Traffic Crackdown

The Fourth of July traffic safety campaign concluded on July 6.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Woodridge police issued 54 tickets during a recent traffic safety campaign that coincided with the 4th of July holiday.

One driver was arrested for driving with a revoked license.

The citations were as follows.

  • 21 seat belt tickets
  • 20 speeding tickets
  • 10 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations

The increased traffic patrols, which were part of the statewide "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" and "Click It or Ticket" campaigns, which took place June 19 through July 6.
